AussieLuckyGames is dedicated to ensuring that every Australian, regardless of ability, can engage with our products and services. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and to align with the Australian Government Digital Service Standard.

2. Standards in Practice

We implement best‑practice development and quality‑assurance methods, including:

  • Semantic HTML5 with meaningful ARIA roles and labels.
  • Keyboard‑only navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Colour‑contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds.
  • Captions and transcripts for multimedia content.
  • Consistent heading structure and landmarks.

We partner with Level Access to audit, test and remediate accessibility barriers using both automated tools and manual assistive‑technology testing (screen readers, switch devices and voice input).

3. Assistive Technology Toolbar

Visitors can activate our free assistive toolbar, which offers:

  • Text‑to‑speech
  • Adjustable font size & spacing
  • Colour‑contrast themes
  • Keyboard shortcuts
  • Reading mask & ruler
  • Voice control (beta)

To launch the toolbar, select the "Accessibility" icon located at the top‑right corner of every page.

4. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing journey. We perform quarterly audits and include accessibility criteria in every sprint definition of done. All team members receive regular accessibility training.
